From December 2003 - August 2011, I served in the U.S. Military as an enlisted NCO, creating audiovisual, photography, and design products in the Visual Information & Public Affairs settings. In addition to active duty assignment, I served in the Air National Guard, as a contractor for ASG-Kuwait, and in civil service for the U.S. Special Operations Command in NC. I was expected to be able to create anything asked of me, adapt quickly and learned skills and software on the job.
After leaving the military in 2012, I now use these skills to advocate for veterans and education others about endless war and the military industrial complex. See this work here.
